If you love retro gaming and hamburgers, you've got to try this! This is one of the best tasting, mouth watering hamburgers in Brisbane. Recently reopened after being shut due to building repairs for 2 months. Super combo is a street fighter themed burger bar in Bowen hills. Fairly small shop with limited seating but an awesome outfit with figurines everywhere. The menu heavily themed with street fighter references. I came into this with low expectations thinking it was only a gimmick but was pleasantly surprised. A few ingredients you don't normally see on burgers presented me with a few interesting options. I ended up going the round 2 and adding chicken + maple bacon. A side of loaded fries as well. The beef patty was the least exciting part, flavour was ok but nothing special. Things got better with the chicken, it was crunchy and went well with the parmesan crisp. Roasted tomato was different, it mixed with the ketchup and kewpie mayo. The pickles were finely diced and tasty. The maple bacon was a bit of a no show. Overall it was such an interesting burger with unusual flavour combinations, I really enjoyed it. The candied maple bacon and chimichurri on the fries was awesome as well. Drowned in cheese sauce, they probably could of used half the amount. Recommend trying this place if you want something a little different to your standard burgers.

Do you hear this often “Sauce will cost you 50 cents!” Well this place gives them to you for free and the amount of sauces they have will drown you . The burgers are really good and the portion size of them will definitely hit the spot even for bigger eaters. Great ambience, the service was good and great food. Couldn’t ask for more. I had the Electric Thunder Brazil Burger. They must have the crunchiest chips this side of Brisbane. I was so eager to take a bite of that juicy burger I forgot to take a picture of it. I would rate it higher than Grill’d burgers anytime.

I have had burgers here for about 3 years. Eating on site and picking up orders (convenience of living close by). Great burgers, I usually get the Beet Down Aussie burger. The chips are awesome, nice and crunchy. I always find the service to be fast and friendly. Price is normal for burgers. Four for the burgers and make it a five as the chips are the best.
